Our big loveable farm dog lab

Meet Konnor

He’s bigger than a mini horse and his nickname is Princess.

He despises camping (does this mean we’re homeless???) and he whines when you sit around the fire (smoke means danger you silly humans).

He hates the sound of a windy day (danger danger) and he would love to convince you he’s really just a tiny 125 lb lap dog (I’ll make myself really small and she won’t even notice me).

To call him a farm dog is almost laughable, but he loves nothing more than hanging out in the back field following the Mr around on the tractor. Or sawing logs in a nice warm sunny spot with not too much sun and not too much shade, and only a gentle breeze, with zero possibility of rain, and definitely NO sign of smoke.

Konnor is one quirky lab. He’s my slipper thief and my kitchen buddy. He’s driven by food, and I wouldn’t have him any other way. Actually, I kinda GET him 😉

Curious about upcoming fuzzy additions to the farm? Check out who is in our future here.

You can also keep up to date on all the happenings around the property by following along on my Instagram feed and stories. Check it out here.

  1. Love this! It all looks Reallly appealing. I found one annoying things as I read your content – both the blog and the website.

There is a taupe colored arrow pointing right the whole tim and it covers up content (like of this post).

What is the intent of that arrow? I haven’t tested it on a tablet or computer screen but I have the largest iPhone screen available.

Konnor reminds me of our golden- Happy (now waiting for us at the Rainbow bridge. I used to say that she knew people were put on this earth to pet her and feed her. She was a love.

    1. Thanks so much Jane. I will pass along your comments to my web master.

And yes, Konnor is a special beast. He is our boy forever and ever!
